If worship is sustenence, then modern worship is fast food. We've canned the process and covered it in plastic wrap. We microwave it for 10 minutes then swallow it in time for the sermon. I think that long suffered worship is more beneficial. Whether it is running a mile, memorizing a passage, building and orphanage, or writing a poem, worship can be found in all forms of art and service. Worship is not just something we feel. It is something we sweat. It is an editing of the soul.
